Our Seniors

• The Wellington Community Foundation Inc. (WCF) raises funds to provide life-changing services to seniors.  WCF is a nonprofit charitable 501(c)(3) fundraising support organization.  WCF will be working with partners throughout Wellington to provide several programs that will benefit and improve the quality of life of deserving seniors in Wellington.

•  WELLINGTON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION and WELLINGTON CARES teamed up to put together a program called "Celebrating Our Seniors" and once a year, on their birthday, we deliver a beautiful floral arrangement from Wellington Florist along with a gift card from the Mall at Wellington Green, Breakfast at Gabriel's Cafe and Lunch from Chick-fil-A to seniors in Wellington which helps brighten their day.  Wellington Cares serves  approximately 50 seniors through their organization.  

•  These seniors are provided short-term services designed to provide choices and independence for seniors 65 and older in our community, who wish to "age in place" in their own home.   Many believe Wellington is an affluent community without these types of needs, however, Wellington is a very diverse community and again this year, the Wellington Community Foundation would like to continuing delivering smiles to these deserving seniors.
